This is a representation of what most students experience, especially during this hard times—burnout. This is an artwork that reminds people that resting is not a sign of laziness, it is something that is vital for everyone in order to function well.

The artwork is a representation of what the artist has been experiencing—fatigue. Because of stress, the artist has been having problems functioning well. Over fatigue has resulted to various problems such as lack of sleep, burnout, anxiety, and stress. The artist realized one thing, he needs to breathe in order to regain his self. Resting isn’t a form of slacking off, it is what the body and minds need to refresh the brain. A refreshed body will help everyone to create wonderful things.

It is a reminder for the viewers to always lend time for resting. Do some activities that will reduce the viewer’s stress like cooking, eating, watching movies, etc. It wants to portray of what the viewers’ can do once they regain their strength back. Resting isn’t a sin, it is a way to help you relax and to avoid burnouts. The artwork wants to remind everyone to rest once in a while and to breathe.

It is essential because its represents the burnout that everyone experiences, especially for students who are dealing with online class and modular lessons. The heavy workloads of students as well as their adjustment to the new set up can lead to stress and over fatigue. It wants to convey that your feelings are valid.
